โครงงานนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาประวัติและวิธีการทำดอกไม้ประดิษฐ์จากกระดาษย่น โดยทำดอกกุหลาบ และดอกมะลิที่ถูกวิธีและเทคนิคในการทำดอกไม้ประดิษฐ์จากกระดาษย่น
ดอกไม้ประดิษฐ์สามารถเป็นนำไปใช้ในโอกาสต่างๆ ตามความเหมาะสมได้ เช่น ดอกกุหลาบสามารถให้เป็นของขวัญ และใช้เป็นสื่อแทนใจได้ และดอกไม้ประดิษฐ์ยังสามารถทำเป็นอาชีพเสริมได้ ใช้ให้เรามีรายได้ และใช้เวลาว่างให้เป็นประโยชน์ ซึ่งถือว่าดอกไม้ประดิษฐ์จากกระดาษนั้นมีประโยชน์
